Don't send money or sensitive information just because a page appears here. Check the baker independently, agree the order in writing and use a suitable payment method. The Baker Directory doesn't hold payments or guarantee orders.
Report a concern
Report suspected fraud or impersonation, unsafe or inappropriate material, AI-generated or materially altered images, copyright or privacy concerns, misleading business information, or another breach of the terms. Contact us with the page link, what you noticed and any useful evidence. Never send passwords, one-time codes, bank card details or unnecessary identity documents.
Urgent danger
If someone may be in immediate danger or a crime is in progress, contact the emergency services or the South African Police Service first. A report to the directory is not an emergency service.
What happens next
We look at reports in context and may ask for more information, keep records, restrict a page, remove content, suspend access or refer a matter to the appropriate authority. We can't promise a particular outcome and may be unable to share private review details.
Ordering safely
- Look at recent work, references and business details.
- Get the description, price, deposit, collection or delivery, cancellation terms and allergens in writing.
- Be wary of pressure, sudden changes to bank details, unusual payment requests or requests for one-time codes.
- Keep messages, quotations and proof of payment until the order is complete.
